SUMMARY As a Sales Representative, you will contribute to the company’s sales objective with innovative ideas for business growth, great communication skills, strong customer service skills, and excellent negotiation skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES · Actively generate prospects and sales leads by pursuing new and existing clientele · Participate in local networking events to generate relationships and potential client base · Maintain a thorough knowledge of both Springfield Sign’s and our competitor’s products, services, and capabilities · Develop an understanding and study trends within the industry to fulfill the client’s needs · Communicate effectively with each department within Springfield Sign to achieve customers desired outcome · Educate and guide customers through the signage process from the design phase to the installation of their sign for customer satisfaction · Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts · Prepare and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts/goals by tracking and maintaining metrics · Negotiate and close agreements with large accounts while using an understanding of business to business sales REQUIREMENTS · 3 years sales experience · Excellent resource planning and time management skills · Regular, predictable and reliable attendance · Requiring hours of service that would average at least 40 hours of service per week (full time) with possible overtime · Familiarity with financial and project management principles. · Accuracy with attention to detail and organization · Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead · Must be able to lift and carry 0-50lbs. occasionally · Must be willing to travel with some overnights potentially.
